B. Working Principle
The Internal Side Mount Plastic Level Switch works on magnetic float and reed switch technology. A float moves up and down with the liquid level inside the tank. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float changes position around the stem.
Inside the stem, a reed switch is fitted. The float contains a magnet, and when the float reaches the switching position, the magnet activates the reed switch. This creates an electrical signal for level indication, pump control, alarm control or automation system input.
The switch can be configured for SPST NO or NC operation. This means it can be used either to close the circuit or open the circuit when the liquid reaches the desired level.
