B. Working Principle
The RYB160 Low Pressure Transmitter works by sensing the pressure difference between the high-pressure side and the low-pressure side of the transmitter. The internal sensing element contains a fully welded differential pressure measuring structure with silicone oil filled between the sensing chip and the corrugated diaphragms.
When pressure is applied to both sides of the transmitter, the differential pressure acts on the corrugated diaphragms. This pressure is transferred through the silicone oil to the sensitive silicon chip. The chip converts the pressure difference into an electrical signal through a Wheatstone bridge circuit.
This electrical signal is then processed by the transmitter’s internal signal conditioning circuit and converted into a standard output signal such as 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V or RS485. The output signal can then be used by controllers, indicators, PLC systems, BMS systems and industrial automation systems for monitoring and control.
