A. Product Overview
The RYB161 Clean Room Differential Pressure Transmitter is an intelligent instrument used to measure, display and transmit air differential pressure. It is suitable for monitoring the pressure difference between two rooms, ducts, filters or ventilation zones.
This transmitter is mainly used for dry and non-corrosive gases. It is designed with an aluminum alloy housing, stable sensor compensation, good sealing performance and vibration resistance. The 4-digit LED or LCD display makes the pressure value easy to read during installation, inspection and daily operation.
The RYB161 is suitable for cleanroom pressure monitoring, HVAC air pressure monitoring, filter blockage monitoring, medical equipment, laboratory pressure control, fire escape pressure systems, boiler systems, coal industry and electric power applications.
B. Working Principle
The RYB161 Differential Pressure Transmitter works by comparing the pressure between two air points. One port is connected to the high pressure side and the other port is connected to the low pressure side.
When there is a pressure difference between the two ports, the internal pressure sensing element detects the micro differential pressure. The sensor converts this pressure difference into an electrical signal. The transmitter then processes the signal through its internal compensation circuit to reduce errors caused by temperature and sensitivity changes.
After processing, the transmitter provides a standard output signal such as 4β20mA, RS485 or 0β10V. This signal can be connected to a PLC, indicator, controller, BMS, cleanroom monitoring system or SCADA system.
In cleanroom applications, the transmitter continuously monitors whether the room is maintaining positive pressure or negative pressure compared to the surrounding area.
C. Why It Is Used
The RYB161 Clean Room Differential Pressure Transmitter is used to maintain safe and controlled air pressure conditions in sensitive environments. In cleanrooms, laboratories and pharma areas, air pressure difference is important because it helps control contamination, airflow direction and room safety.
It is commonly used for:
- Cleanroom pressure monitoring to maintain positive or negative room pressure
- HVAC system monitoring for air duct and ventilation pressure measurement
- Filter monitoring to detect filter blockage or pressure drop
- Medical equipment applications where stable air pressure measurement is required
- Laboratory pressure control for controlled environments
- Fire escape pressure systems to monitor differential pressure
- Boiler, coal and electric power applications for dry gas micro pressure measurement
- Building management systems for continuous air pressure supervision
The main purpose of this transmitter is to provide reliable air pressure difference data so that airflow, filtration and room pressure can be controlled accurately.
