Baumer AX series pressure gauge is a capsule type low pressure gauge used for measuring small pressure values in mbar, mmWC and other low pressure scales. It is suitable for applications where standard bourdon tube pressure gauges may not provide sensitive measurement at very low pressure levels.
The gauge is built with an AISI 304 stainless steel case and bayonet type bezel, giving it better durability for industrial environments. B. Working Principle
The Baumer AX pressure gauge works on the capsule measuring principle. Inside the gauge, a thin metal capsule expands or contracts when low pressure is applied. This movement is transferred through the internal mechanism to the pointer, which shows the pressure reading on the dial.
Because the capsule element is highly sensitive, it can detect very small pressure changes more accurately than a normal bourdon tube gauge in low pressure ranges. This makes it suitable for mbar, mmWC, inWC, kPa, mmHg and similar low pressure scale applications.
