Product Details

A. Product Overview

This DIN-Rail Universal Temperature Transmitter (Isolated) is a multi-signal converter designed for industrial panels and automation systems where different sensor and standard signals must be converted into reliable analog outputs. It supports RTD (Pt100, Cu50), thermocouples (S, R, B, K, N, E, J, T), resistance signals, and DC standard signals including voltage (0–5 V, 0–10 V, 1–5 V, 0–100 mV) and current (0–10 mA, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA).

The device is PC configurable for input type, range and output mode, and includes built-in cold junction compensation (CJC) for accurate thermocouple measurement. It mounts on a DIN 35 mm rail and provides input/output/power isolation to reduce ground loops, improve signal integrity and enhance safety in control panel installations.

B. Working Principle

The transmitter accepts a selected input (RTD, thermocouple, resistance or DC standard signal) and converts it into a proportional analog output based on the configured range. For thermocouple measurement, cold junction compensation is applied to correct reference junction effects.

Output can be set for current or voltage depending on the receiving instrument requirements:

  • Current output: 4–20 mA, 0–10 mA

  • Voltage output: 1–5 V, 0–10 V

The unit is designed with defined insulation resistance and dielectric isolation strength between input, output, power supply and ground, supporting stable performance in electrically noisy environments and multi-loop control panels.

C. Key Applications

  • DIN-rail conversion of RTD and thermocouple temperature signals to analog outputs such as 4–20 mA

  • Conversion of DC standard signals (mV / V / mA) into current or voltage outputs for instrumentation loops

  • Isolated signal conversion to prevent ground loops and improve measurement stability

  • Control panels, skids and automation cabinets requiring DIN 35 mm mounting and compact width

  • Retrofit and replacement of existing signal conditioners/transmitters in process and utility systems

D. Why Industries Use This Product

Industrial plants and OEM panel builders use universal isolated DIN-rail transmitters to standardize multiple input types into common analog outputs, reducing the need for different models in inventory and simplifying wiring and commissioning. Isolation between input/output/power/ground helps reduce interference, improves signal separation and supports reliable operation where different instruments share power supplies or grounding networks.

Performance is supported by stated specifications including accuracy at 25°C, fast response time, and defined output load requirements to match receiving equipment. The transmitter is suitable for continuous measurement, signal conditioning and control system integration in automation environments.
