Metrix+ LX 1336A Digital Lux Meter 0-500000 Lux Light Meter

A. Product Overview

The Metrix Plus HT 9B Thermo Hygrometer is a multifunction environmental measuring instrument used for monitoring temperature and humidity conditions.

Unlike a basic humidity meter, the HT 9B can display four important environmental parameters:

• Ambient temperature
• Relative humidity
• Dew point temperature
• Wet bulb temperature

The instrument measures ambient temperature from minus 20 to 70 degree Celsius and relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent RH.

Its large four row backlit LCD allows multiple parameters to be viewed conveniently during inspection and testing.

The HT 9B also includes useful functions for professional measurement work, including:

• Temperature measurement
• Relative humidity measurement
• Dew point calculation
• Wet bulb temperature calculation
• 2000 set data storage
• Adjustable data storage interval
• High limit alarm
• Low limit alarm
• Minimum reading display
• Maximum reading display
• Data hold function
• Automatic power off
• Large backlit LCD
• Portable handheld design
• Three AAA battery operation

These features make the HT 9B suitable for environmental inspection, HVAC maintenance, indoor air monitoring and industrial temperature and humidity measurement.

B. Working Principle

The Metrix Plus HT 9B uses internal sensing elements to measure ambient temperature and moisture present in the surrounding air.

The temperature sensor detects the air temperature, while the humidity sensor determines the amount of moisture in the air and expresses it as relative humidity.

The instrument processes these measurements electronically and displays the results on its LCD.

Using the measured temperature and relative humidity values, the meter can also determine dew point and wet bulb temperature.

Dew point represents the temperature at which moisture in the air begins to condense.

Wet bulb temperature represents the combined effect of air temperature and moisture and is useful when evaluating cooling, ventilation and environmental conditions.

The HT 9B therefore allows technicians to evaluate several environmental parameters using a single handheld instrument.

C. Why It Is Used

The Metrix Plus HT 9B is used when temperature and humidity conditions need to be checked, monitored or compared during maintenance, quality control or environmental inspection.

Temperature alone does not always provide enough information about environmental conditions. Humidity, dew point and wet bulb temperature can be important in applications where moisture, condensation or air conditioning performance needs to be evaluated.

The HT 9B can be used for:

• HVAC system inspection
• Air conditioning maintenance
• Indoor environmental monitoring
• Cleanroom monitoring
• Pharmaceutical facilities
• Laboratory testing
• Warehouse monitoring
• Storage area inspection
• Manufacturing facilities
• Office and commercial buildings
• Environmental testing
• Preventive maintenance
• Facility management
• Temperature and humidity surveys
• Moisture condition assessment
• Dew point monitoring
• Wet bulb temperature measurement

The high and low alarm functions can help users identify environmental conditions outside predetermined limits.

Its 2000 set storage capability is useful when multiple measurements need to be recorded during surveys or inspection work.

D. Suitable Buyers

The Metrix Plus HT 9B is suitable for professionals and organizations that need portable temperature and humidity measurement equipment.

Typical buyers include:
